I’m sat at the Lottie writing this the old fashioned way, putting pen to paper. Yes – it’s double the work but it is also way more cathartic. Sometimes it feels good to get away from technology.
The Lottie is how I lovingly refer to my Partner in Crime’s (PIC) allotment. He has four plots, no judgement please, at least a third of the plots on this site are unused! He grows a plethora of plants, from trees he is cultivating for Bonsai to eventually support a therapy business (yep Bonsai Therapy, a niche version of horticultural therapy) to flowers and edibles.
This year he’s handed over a section to me to literally get my hands dirty with. I’m excited! I’ve dabbled with trying to grow stuff in my garden but the net result has always been death – I’m hoping with some supervision and guidance I do a little better *fingers crossed
